Jumi is an importer of products such as outdoor furniture, lighting, and decorations for Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and other occasions. A characteristic feature of this type of offering is high seasonality, which is associated with the need for thoughtful logistical processes and inventory storage in the context of seasonal fluctuations. The company's products are available in almost all stores in Poland, including the largest retail chains and discount stores, as well as exported to many countries in the European Union. The best way to verify the possibilities of improvements is to personally go through all processes. A SUUS Advisory consultant worked on the warehouse floor for several days, observing the difficulties that warehouse workers face. The next stage was a thorough analysis of historical documentation. Based on this and in line with best practices used in Rohlig SUUS Logistics warehouses, our consultants prepared a series of recommendations covering: improving safety, management and technical streamlining, space reorganization, specific technological solutions, process and warehouse equipment changes.
The project was implemented in close cooperation with the client and with their active participation in shaping new processes and selecting appropriate technologies.
