Polish windows and doors are bought all over the world, mainly because of their quality. However, in order to achieve global success, manufacturers need to adapt to the regulations that prevail in global markets (e.g. customs regulations) or build the right business relationships. At SUUS, we support our customers in this.

In 2021, Polish products accounted for the largest share of wood window exports (as much as 28%), and we gave way only to China and Brazil in foreign sales of wood doors (8.3%). Among the main markets for Polish products we can include EU countries, the UK and the United States. In 2022, exports to the latter country increased the most - by 100%.

How to cope with the lack of knowledge of the market, for example, the USA, to which we transport goods?

The answer is to cooperate with an experienced logistics operator and handle the supply chain comprehensively - from collection from the manufacturer in Poland, through warehousing, bringing to a port in the European Union and customs services, to collection at a port in the United States and delivery to the point of destination. It is also important to work with the right partners on the ground, who can prove invaluable support, for example, in transporting to hard-to-reach places, such as construction sites in city centers.

What to transport windows and doors with?
Due to the size and weight of most carpentry products, as well as the price of freight, the most popular means of transportation is by sea. At SUUS, as a complement, we also offer air transportation for transporting, for example, glass or accessories.
