Bonded warehouse – suspend customs duty and tax payments
We operate our own bonded warehouses which are designated and customs authority-approved locations on our logistics facility premises. In customs terms, the goods stored there are considered to be located outside the European Union’s customs territory. This is a good solution for importers as there is no time limit on the storage of such goods and our customers get to suspend customs duty and tax payments until some or all of the goods have actually been sold.
As a comprehensive logistics operator with its own proprietary network of customs agencies and customs authority-approved locations we possess the highest AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) Certificate which means we can substantially speed up all customs clearance procedures. We are authorized to issue certificates and assign product characteristics to meet existing norms and regulations.
