Rohlig SUUS Logistics Has Opened a Branch in Kazakhstan. The Operator Places Importance on Logistics Operations Development in Central Asia

Rohlig SUUS Logistics recognizes Kazakhstan's potential as a logistics hub between Europe and Asia, particularly with China. The largest Polish logistics operator has opened a branch in Almaty, offering services such as air, road, and rail freight, intermodal solutions, and focusing on the development of warehousing services. The company also aims to distribute products to the local market and neighboring countries, including Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

One of the cornerstones of Rohlig SUUS Logistics' development is diversification, both in terms of services offered, customer industries, and geographical expansion. The operator is growing dynamically in the Central and Eastern European markets. Consequently, observing business trends and customer needs, the company has decided to open a branch in Kazakhstan as the next market for expansion.

Andrzej Kozłowski, Board Member at Rohlig SUUS Logistics, explains: "The geopolitical situation and geographical location have recently heightened Kazakhstan's significance. Our customers perceive it as an excellent logistics hub between Europe and China, as well as a starting point for further business expansion and distribution of goods to the local market and neighboring countries". This is confirmed by the data, as Kazakhstan's main economic partners include Asian countries, especially China, Europe, and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, including neighboring ones such as Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

Andrzej Kozłowski adds: "Beyond the economic trend, the investment in Kazakhstan is undeniably influenced, among other factors, by the fact that we observe a series of investments in the development of modern infrastructure in this country, both in roads and railways. Why? This directly translates into enhancing our operational capabilities in the region, especially in the field of intermodal transport, which we emphasize in our development".

The SUUS branch offers customers comprehensive logistics support, including transit connections utilizing road, rail, and intermodal freight services. Meanwhile, the well-developed aviation infrastructure, including the airport in Almaty, enables the efficient and rapid air transportation from Kazakhstan to Europe, including Poland. The operator also ensures the distribution of goods to the local market and neighboring countries and plans to develop warehousing services. In the region, SUUS emphasizes internal competencies and collaboration within the global Röhlig network as well as with local business partners.
