SUUS offers daily road services to the Baltic states

Rohlig SUUS Logistics, polish largest logistics operator, is developing road transport in the northeastern part of Europe. The company offers groupage services to the Baltic states: Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. SUUS' warehouse and customs agency in Bialystok are key in this direction.

Towards the Baltics
Polish largest operator offers regular and fast groupage services to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. In cooperation with Delamode, transports are carried out daily, with a transit time of 2-3 working days. With this operator SUUS also cooperates in the direction of Finland, where the transit time is 2-5 working days. Thanks to SUUS' extensive groupage network in Europe, as well as its sea, air, rail and intermodal forwarding offer, customers can also take advantage of the service to other European countries or other continents.
– The war in Ukraine has reduced transport capacity in eastern Europe, so much of this volume has been taken over by the Baltic states. We see a growing demand for general cargo connections in this direction. Therefore, we are strengthening our position and offering regular services to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia – says Piotr Szalkiewicz, International Groupage Product Director – CEE at Rohlig SUUS Logistics. – Both Delamode and SUUS have experience in logistics operations around the world. That's why the combination of our global competence, but also our knowledge of the local markets of Poland and the Baltic countries allows us to provide the highest quality of service – he adds.

Bialystok a gateway to the Baltics
Services to the Baltics are handled by Rohlig SUUS Logistics' branch in Bialystok, where there is a customs agency with a temporary storage warehouse and permission to use simplified procedures, making it much easier and faster to clear goods. In addition, earlier this year SUUS opened its second warehouse in Podlasie, in Choroszcz near Bialystok. The Polish operator's total warehouse space in the region is 7.3 thousand square meters. At the branches, the company offers warehousing, transshipment, picking according to sales orders, deconsolidation of sea and rail containers, e-commerce services and a wide range of value-added services (e.g., banding, creation of promotional kits or labeling), among others.
– An attractive location, increasingly better infrastructure and the development of initiatives such as the Suwałki Special Economic Zone, Via Carpatia and the TEN-T transport network are just some of Podlasie's assets. For many companies, Bialystok is an important point on the map in terms of transporting goods to Lithuania, Latvia or Estonia, but it is also a logistics hub for the Baltic countries towards Western and Southern Europe. This makes the demand for logistics services in the region constantly growing – says Krzysztof Gąsiewski, Regional Director at Rohlig SUUS Logistics.
