Logistics Facility To Cover North-Western Poland, Germany and Scandinavia

More efficient and cost-saving logistics solutions on top of additional comprehensive services from our Szczecin branch.

Each and every day we run thousands of logistics operations in Poland and world-wide. One place where this happens is our Szczecin branch with an A Class, 6500 sq. m., 7500 pallet place logistics facility. All cross the country we manage over 250 thousand sq. m. of warehouse space fitted with advanced technologies and environmentally-friendly solutions.

In addition to storing goods, our warehouse facilities offer a range of additional services like co-packing, inserting or e-commerce logistics. Since our services also cover road, sea, rail and air freight as well as Project Cargo and customs clearance services provided by our own Customs Agency, we are able to offer our customers comprehensive supply chain capabilities on top of a full range of logistics services. The total warehouse operation is supported by a world-class WMS with broad configuration and systems integration capabilities as part of ROHLIG SUUS Logistics.

Exchange of Know-How and Cost Optimization

The facility at #1 Kablowa street in Szczecin, opened in 2018, features custom-designed solutions. The Szczecin-based multi-customer warehouse caters to multiple customers from a range of industries allowing us to share know-how between projects and industries, as well as optimize costs and storage space.

The team at the Szczecin branch are experienced in working with FMCG, manufacturing, packaging and e-commerce customers. They’re a seasoned group of experts who provide advice and operating support, able to address the needs of large multinationals and small to mid-sized businesses.

Benefits of a Bonded Warehouse

Inside the Szczecin logistics facility we operate our own bonded warehouse. It enables us to store goods from outside the European Union customs area for indefinite periods of time. The main benefits include suspended duty and VAT payments until such time as the goods, in whole or in part, begin to be sold in the European Union.

It’s important to bear in mind that the goods stored there are monitored and inspected by customs authorities and are tracked in a manner approved by the appropriate customs authority.

We clear goods at our own customs agency and manage the total supply chain and document flow at each stage of the process. Our Szczecin warehouse can also offer the cross-docking of goods in adherence to customs procedures without customs authorities needing to be present on site.

Szczecin’s Strategic Location

A part of our Szczecin-based logistics facility contains a cross-dock terminal which, along with our other facilities across Poland, forms a groupage distribution network with over 300 regular lines enabling us to get our customers’ goods to their destinations in just 24 hours.

The S3, A6 and S6 motorways ensure the facility is well connected to the rest of Poland. The proximity of the maritime ports in Szczecin and Świnoujście combined with the network of railway lines crossing this region represent major strong points as does the planned construction of an advanced intermodal inland terminal in Dunikowo. Our Szczecin branch represents an excellent location for businesses either already operating or with plans to operate in north-eastern Germany and Scandinavian countries who are looking for a logistics operator.

We have been helping our partners grow for 30 years. Thanks to a 1500-strong team located in 28 branches in Poland and Europe and the collaboration with our global partner, the Rohlig group, we can build a complete custom-designed logistics chain to meet our customers’ needs.
