Notice as part of information obligation (direct acquisition of personal data from a data subject) in relation to ROHLIG SUUS Logistics S.A. customers.

Information clause

This is to inform you of the following:

Your Data Controller is ROHLIG SUUS Logistics S.A. with seat in Warsaw (02-235) at Równoległa 4A street.

You can contact the individual responsible for carrying out Data Protection Officer duties at ROHLIG SUUS Logistics S.A. via e-mail at iodo@suus.com or by writing to the Data Controller’s address to the attention of „Data Protection Officer”.

Personal data is processed to accept and comprehensively carry out a contracted service. The legal basis for such processing shall be article 6, section 1, item b of the General Data Protection Regulation dated on the 27th of April 2016 and article 6, section 1, item c of the General Data Protection Regulation dated on the 27th of April 2016, in connection with the execution of the obligations as set out in the Act on Accounting dated on the 29th of September 1994 (Journal of Laws from 2017, item 2342).

Recipients of your personal data shall include:

  • carriers with whom ROHLIG SUUS Logistics S.A. works with insofar as shipping jobs are concerned;
  • sub-contractors who operate and maintain ROHLIG SUUS Logistics S.A.’s IT systems;
  • employees of ROHLIG SUUS Logistics S.A., insofar as their professional duties are concerned.

Your personal data shall not be transferred to third countries or international organizations.

Your personal data shall be stored for a period of 5 years from the start of the year following the financial year in which a contract had expired or had been terminated, as based on the Act on Accounting dated on the 29th of September 1994 (Journal of Laws from 2017, item 2342).

You shall have right to demand the following of the Data Controller: the right to access your personal data, the right to have it corrected, removed, the right to have its processing restricted, the right to object to its processing and transfer.

You have the right to file a complaint with an appropriate data protection authority.

Whilst you provide your personal data voluntarily, it is a prerequisite for entering into a contract; failure to provide it shall make entering into a contract and performing a shipping job impossible.

Your personal data shall not be processed as part of automated decision-making, including as part of profiling.
