Fuel surcharge in general cargo consignments by sea, air and rail
The purchase of fuel is a significant part of the cost of container haulage from ports. The fuel surcharge reflects current fluctuations in fuel prices.
The fuel surcharge in container haulages is calculated according to the date of container declaration for customs clearance.
We would like to inform you that from 1st April 2022, a fuel surcharge will be added to the base rates for general cargo consignments by sea, air and rail in import and export operations.
The amount of the fuel surcharge is determined on the basis of the wholesale price of fuel in PKN ORLEN, posted on the website of the largest fuel supplier in Poland, PKN ORLEN.
- The current Fuel Adjustment Factor value for 22/04/2024 until 28/04/2024 is: 1,54%
- Average ON price for 15/03/2024 until 21/04/2024 : 5 248 PLN / 1000 l (net)
