OC insurance sum
A shipment on one means of transport can be insured for a maximum amount of 1,000,000 USD.
For a shipment to be insured for over 1 million USD, Allianz needs to express consent. For such cases, Allianz can negotiate individual terms of insurance. Depending on the details specified in the insurance application, the insurance sum could include the following parts:
- Contract value
- Freight
- Custom in the country of destination
- Excise duty
- Costs associated with making up for the damage (up to 5% of contract value)
- 10% lump sum profit (at sales) or purchase cost (at purchase)
For each damage within the terms of the Cargo Insurance contract, integral franchise applies, at the amount of 300PLN per event.
