About ROHLIG SUUS Logistics in Poland
In 1989 Rohlig & Co opened a Polish branch of the corporation under the name Rohlig Poland, which was one of the first companies in Poland that received license to create joint venture projects of Elektrim SA Warszawa, LOT SA and ZTE Radom with foreign capital of Rohlig Continental BV.
Since 1989, the company has been growing dynamically. Our business currently operates from 18 offices across Poland, where we employ over 600 people and run logistics operations in warehouses with total area of over 100,000 sqm.
Rohlig in Poland is the only company within Rohlig & Co Group that developed broad competence in road freight and logistics as well. It is important to say that Rohlig&Co concentrates its activity mainly on air&sea freights services.
Being very active on the polish market, we have built a strong partnerships network across Europe, implementing international road consignments. We have also created a comprehensive range of logistics and distribution services in the country.
In year 2006, as a result of manger buyout, Rohlig Poland became a financially independent company with Polish capital only. 100% shares in ROHLIG SUUS Logistics owns Chief Executive Officer Tadeusz Chmielewski.
30 April 2009 Rohlig Poland transformed into a public limited company.
At the same time the Board decided to run a rebranding process thus changing the company’s name from Rohlig Poland into ROHLIG SUUS Logistics, which was also followed by refreshment of development strategies. The statutory amendment was accompanied by changing the logo and corporate identity (more about rebranding).
The aim of ROHLIG SUUS Logistics is to further develop competences in logistics and road freight and closely cooperate with Rohlig & Co group within air&sea freight.
